The blind spot detection system(BSD)is designed to aid in detecting vehicles that may have entered the blind spot area,the detection area is on both sides of your vehicle,extending rearward from the exterior mirrors to approximately 50 feet beyond the bumper,the system is designed to alert the driver if a vehicle has entered or is present in the blind spot area.
The blind spot detection system consists of two BSD sensors (24Ghz),one GPS module,one control box,one buzzer,one pair of warning indicator,one set of harness ,one set of installation kits.

♦Functions
•Self diagnosis
When ignition is turned on,system starts to make self diagnosis ,and will remind driver by warning light.
•RCTA function
Starting conditions:When the vehicle ignition is "on";The vehicle is in R gear.
Basic function:When reversing,the radar monitors the incoming traffic on both rear sides of the vehicle and reminds the driver by audible and light visible alarm.
a. If there's no vehicle in the alarm area,the two sides warning light won't be lit;
b. When the target vehicle enters from the right alarm area,the right warning light will flashes and the buzzer will beeps twice.
c. When the target vehicle enters from the left alarm area,the left warning light will flashes and the buzzer will beeps twice.
•BSD&LCA function
Starting conditions:
a. When the vehicle ignition is "on";
b.The vehicle is in non-R gear;
c. If set the working speed for 20km/h,when the vehicle accelerates to a speed exceed for 20km/h,the system will start working;When the speed is reduced to 15km/h,the system will stop working.
Basic functions:
a. If there's no vehicle in the alarm area,the warning light won't be lit;
b. If there's no vehicle in the alarm area I (0m~7m),alarm area II (7m~15m) has a vehicle with an approaching speed of v and a distance of d from the rear of the vehilcle,if d/v>3s,the warning light won't be lit.

c. When there's a relatively stationary or close to the vehicle in the alarm area I,the warning light will be lit.
d. When turn on the right turning light,if there's a relatively static or close to the vehicle in the alarm area I,the warning light continues to flash,and the buzzer will give out two sounds of "bibi" alarm.
e. If there's a vehicle in the alarm area II(7m~15m) with an approaching speed of v and a distance of d from the rear of the vehicle,when the d/v is less than 3s, the warning light is lit.(d,v refers to figure 1)
f. When turn on the right turning light,If there's a vehicle in the alarm area II(7m~15m) with an approaching speed of v and a distance of d from the rear of the vehicle,when the d/v < 3s,the alarm light flashes,and the buzzer will give out two sounds of "bibi" alarm.(d,v refers to figure 1)
